Frequently Asked Questions

We get lots of questions every day! These are the most common and will help prepare you for your first visit with us.

What do I need to bring for my appointment?

All individuals working in the shop will need to fill out a liability waiver. In conjunction to this, we need to verify the physical ID for everyone filling out the waiver. ID can be state issued ID's or driver's licenses, DOD ID's, Tribal ID's, or passports.

We also require close toed shoes in the shop at all times.

What if my parts don't show up?

Be sure to have your parts in hand before making your appointment. We are not able to waive any applicable cancellation fees due to parts not arriving on time.

What is included with my bay rental?

Bay rentals include a vehicle lift, a tool box stocked with hand and air tools, part and fluid disposal, access to a large assortment of specialty tools and shop equipment to assist in your project. Vehicle specific tools may not be available. Please call ahead if your job requires a vehicle specific specialty tool.

What happens if I need more bay time than I booked?

You are always welcome to extend your bay time, given we have bays available. We will let you know at check in if there isn't space to extend your appointment.

What happens if I booked more time than was needed?

Due to the nature of your reservation taking up space on our calander that other's cannot book, we aren't able to refund for unused time. We suggest rounding down and extending your appointment if you're unsure of how much time you'll need.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

Cancellations and appointment changes can be made up to 48 hours before your appointment start time. After that, your appointment is locked in and will be subject to fee equaling half of your appointment total ($100 max).

What happens if I can't finish before you close?

We offer an After Hours rate from 9pm to 10pm - it is $45 per 30 minutes. If you are not fully checked out by 9:05 PM you will be charged an After Hours block. At 10pm there is a firm cut off.

Alternatively, vehicles can be left in the bay, stored in the shop, or rolled out. Storage is dependent on space and is charged at a rate of $25/day or $75/week. You can leave a vehicle in the shop for up to 2 weeks between appointments, but you will need to make an appointment to return at some point within those 2 weeks when you leave the vehicle with us.

If you leave your vehicle in the bay, you will be charged the bay rental rate while the shop is open and your vehicle is in the bay - be sure to return as early as possible the next day to minimize unnecessary charges.

I've never used a lift, will you help me?

Yes, we will help set your vehicle lift points and show you the lift controls before you get to work. We're always available for questions if you need a reminder.

How do I use my membership hours?

When you book your appointment, your hours will automatically be used to cover that appointment. If the appointment is longer than the available hours in your balance, the available hours will apply automatically and the remaining hours will be discounted based on your membership tier.

How do I check how many membership hours I have?

When your monthly membership dues are paid, we will send you an email with an updated total of your remaining membership hours. Or you can call/message us at any time. Your hours are automatically updated and tracked in your customer profile.

Will you help me work on my vehicle if I get stuck?

In our garage we embrace the Do-It-Yourself attitude. While our staff cannot actively work on your vehicle, the crew is made up of mechanically minded enthusiasts who would be happy to help brainstorm solutions or give advice when asked.

What do I do with my old parts and fluids?

You can dispose of all fluids and old parts in the shop for no added charge. Fluid disposal is limited to the fluids you drain during your appointment - due to our limited capacity, we aren't able to dispose of your stored waste fluids.

The Household Hazardous Waste facility in Everett is a great free resource for this type of fluid disposal. They are located at 3434 McDougall Ave.
